REMINDER: This is the first year Harford voters will select Board of Education candidates. For this election, registered voters in Councilmanic districts A (Edgewood/Joppatowne), B (Abingdon/Fallston), and D (Darlington, Forest Hill, Jarrettsville, Pylesville and White Hall) will vote for candidates in their individual district.
The Board of Education election is nonpartisan. EVERY registered voter, regardless of party affiliation, may vote. The two top vote getters in each district will run in the General Election.
According to Maryland legislation passed during the 2010 session, Harford County Board of Education candidates for Districts C, E, and F will run in the 2014 election.

Welcome from Our President
Welcome to the website of the League of Women Voters of Harford County. We hope to contribute to your understanding of the issues currently before the public. The information contained herein will be of interest to you as a citizen and as a voter.
We serve our community by registering local citizens to vote and giving testimony before the County Council. We also assist the local Board of Elections by performing polling place evaluations, as required by the State of Maryland.
We are proud of the League's history of voter education and enfranchisement.
The League of Women Voters is the organization where hands-on work to safeguard democracy leads to civic improvement. Please join us in this effort to promote democracy!
